Islands Trust welcome sign at ferry
The Islands Trust welcome sign placed near the ferry terminal in Snug Cove has been removed temporarily. The Squamish Nation has requested the Islands Trust to amend some of the details of the sign.
Council seeks input from community by means of Island Survey 2021
Bowen Island Municipal Council is asking for feedback from islanders. The Island Survey is for Bowen Island residents and property owners, and is conducted every other year.

Residential guest accommodations require a business licence
Residential Guest Accommodations (RGA) are permitted on Bowen Island to contribute to the accommodation sector and local economy. They are regulated to ensure operator accountability and to minimize impacts on residential neighbourhoods and long term housing. RGA operators are required to have a valid business licence.
